Hi Everyone,
I am a newbie to the forum, and this is my very first post. Was referred to your forum - as I am a Classic Bike Lover, AND I am looking to sell my beloved Fat Chance Yo Eddy. It is a later one, "made in Saratoga County NY". Original Green paint, never repainted. I first built up the bike with an all XT set-up, triple crank etc. Later moved those parts to another project ... And it has been my single-speed for the past few years.
Pictures show Frame with parts on it - but the sale is for the frame only.
Frame Only! Price = $1000.00
I will ship the frame - buyer pays the shipping, in addition to cost of frame.
Frame will ship from Stroudsburg PA, USA
Buyer can pick-up the frame, if they want to.
Interested? Please shoot me a private message.
The details:
The Seat Tube measures 20.5" [Center to Top]
Top Tube measures 23"
Mint condition or New Old Stock, it is NOT. I'd like to be clear that the bike has been enjoyed! The frame has a couple minor paint chips from the few stray pebbles flying up, riding the trails ... But has never been crashed, and has no dents, has never needed any repairs, there are not any structural issues. It rides straight and true, handles great, and is in fine shape. For the rider looking to ride and enjoy his or her Fat Chance Yo Eddy, this is a fine candidate.
"So why are you parting with it?" I am really tall, and believe it or not, need something bigger. And can't rationalize keeping a bike that is too small for me - simply for collecting something I always wanted as a kid, really into Mountain Bikes. I've been holding onto it for nostalgic reasons, and it's not practical. I'm not a hoarder.... and would like to see someone (a little shorter than myself) appreciate and enjoy this bike, for what it is.
Had trouble up-loading photos. Here are links to some:
