    Monster Fat and Google

A word to the wise: Do not do a google image search at work (with 'Safe Search' Off) for "Monster Fat". It is much better to add the word "bicycle" to your search. There is some nasty stuff out there that contains Monster and Fat in the search criteria! Good thing I was in the repair area of...

    734Y2S...homecoming

This is the little YO! that started the revolution for me. I bought it second hand in early '94 after my Fisher Paragon got ripped off. Originally Imron white with a hot pink fork, the repaint('96 or '97) was done in Glens Falls. The silver started flaking the first time a pebble looked at...

Cool old ad from Dirt Rag

Got my new printer w/scanner hooked up, I thought I'd share this old back cover of DR with you all. This was my first issue of Dirt Rag (issue 12) and I saw my first Fat at Greenlee's which was a tiny cabin of a high end Mtb shop in Western PA

Who rode their FAT on Halloween?

:skull: I'm a bit under the weather, but rode the orange and yellow splatter WICKED to the work at the bike shop and wore my Team Grease T-shirt as a costume! Seemed appropriate. Hopefully all you MONSTER owners got out for a spin!:skull:

    King Cage endorsement

http://www.kingcage.com/index.html OK, what is the perfect wb cage for your FAT? Many say a Ringle. I folded a couple of those back in the day. In my eyes King Cages are the ticket! Lets see...made by a former FCC employee, made in USA of USA materials, made to last, beautiful...

Pulled the trigger on a Bontrager Race

Newest addition to the stable... No special place in my heart for Bontys, but cool handbuilt American steel none the less. Frame only...this one might take a while to figure out the build.

    Wicked Fast

I am loving the splatter Wicked more than I ever dreamed. This bike is just so smooth and zippy. It reminds me of a B-stone XO-1, with a proper dose of supreme Fatness! The build is pretty utilitarian, mostly 550 series Deore LX, Nitto Moustache bars. Getting the bars high enough can be tough...

    It's huge but it fits

Playing with the Grello w/ Blue Yo! and remembered that the Yo! fork was built to fit the Specialized Ground Control 2.5. Hmmm...I wonder if that 2.6 DH tire in the back if the garage fits. You bet! The center knobs are about 3mm from the bottom of the steerer though! Suspy corrected fork...

    Super Splatter Wicked

I began the build of the Wicked that I bought from JackLantern, after some touch up paint and general frame love. This bike is going to replace the Grello with Blue Yo! as my commuter / trailer puller. The Yo! gets to be a knobby tire bike again! Put in a huge parts order today and should have...

    Steph's B-stone commuter

Well not all the bikes in the garage are American steel.:) I have a thing for high quality Japanese bikes too. This one is my wife's '87 MB-2 turned into a transportation bike. It was her off road bike until her Yo came along. The old school geometry and chainstay rollercams are much better...
