Default Were Fat Chance frames clear coated?

The decals have started to peel off my current rider a 92 Yo, doesnt appear to be clear coat on the frame at all.

Cleared-over decals were a paint option, but few were done to my knowledge. I don't remember how much the option was.

I think most of the Yo's had a clear coat over the imron but then decals were applied over that.

Maybe others know more than I since I spent most of my time with the mask down and the bright light on

For my bikes - Wicked no / TI no (of course) / Slim - yes.

The decals on my Wicked have almost flaked away to nothingness - just a crackly mess, but I still love it that way.

I had an 87 Wicked that was repainted in like 1992 and it had a clear coat that was super thick, even the "FAT" and Reynolds 531 decals on the fork were covered. (Also, I had asked Reggie Jackson to not put Wicked decals on it)
