You beat me by posting this Rody! Thanks for sharing though. It is very unfortunate he had this accident. Let's hope he's back on his feet soon. I just made a donation and hope that many of us will follow.

Got the heads up from Velocipedesalon. Christopher built my Igleheart the first time he was out in Portland, OR. Hope he heals well....

for how bike friendly our city claims to be, there are still too many drivers that don't make themselves aware of cyclists. that, and the city keeps installing new bicycle traffic control devices without taking the time to make the public aware of how they function. I don't know the details of his accident, but I do know that even though Portland claims to be the bicycle capital of America, it still can be pretty nerve wracking riding a bike in many parts of town.

I will for sure be throwing some money his way. best wishes, Chris.
