Default My '89er

Hello all! I'm new to the forum and just heard about it from Kirk Pacenti. He was by my shop and saw the Fat Chance I just got.

A guy wanted to sell it so, I took it off it hands. The bike is as in came into me...reflector and all, well, minus the rack it had on it.
Below are some pictures:

Sweet; like the subtle highend parts, on the black frame.

It's one Flexstem away from perfect. Will you be putting it on the trails soon?

You're right, a Soft Ride stem would be better.

I don't know if I will put it on the trails as I don't have any Look 'mountain' pedals. Honestly, I don't know if I'll ride it because it is so perfect. I can only find three scratches on the frame. If you saw how clean the bike came to me, you probably wouldn't ride it.

I'd probably ride a Litespeed (with green decals, LS doesn't know how old this bike is) with Suntour before I'd ride my FC. The LS needs to be put period correct. I'll post pictures of it later.

I knew a woman, once, who believed this. She is long gone, but the scars remain.

But, yes, I agree; these's something right about an old bike with a nice patina.
