Builder's Corner Restoration and preservation. Keep them running in perfect shape. What size is your bottom bracket? |

Just put the last piece on this morning to get it rolling (thanks Megan & J).
The build is a mish-mash of parts I took off a 1984 Cannondale I've been riding for 29 years, wow! Time for an upgrade. Still need to sort out the brakes, plan on switching over to Campy Ergo brifters as they are the only ones compatible with the Suntour 7 speed freewheel. Took it out around the block & it rides nice, very smooth. Been riding the super stiff C-dale for so long I forgot what compliance was like. Waiting for the weather to break to give it a proper spin. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I really like the mash-up parts build ESPECIALLY the Modolo calipers (I have a set on my roadie as well) and Salsa stem... and are those AC skewers?

Yes, American Classic hubs and skewers. Love the hubs, these have been rolling since 1985 or 86. I have a set built up for mtb wheelset that I just retired , moved up to 8 speed.
