Default 1999 Yo Eddy Blue

Here is one of my latest pick ups

I think it's a 98/99 YO Eddy

Tough to tell from the serial number on the later bikes I believe

I decked it with XTR, Race Face, Thomson and the like

of note the 420mm suspension corrected Igleheart fork

This is not original to the ride, but it's a good pairing geometry-wise

can't wait for warmer weather to give it a romp...

It's Zero Fahrenheit today here in Chicago

Really a fine looking bike. My old 98' Bro was the same color. I miss that bike.

Cable routing like what?

I know that early YO's had three to the right when there was brake bridge and cantilevers

but this was clearly made for V-brakes

Other than that, I think I did it right.

Nadar, I do have a blue SID SL fork that I can run too

rearbrake on the left, shifters on the right side, and of course you did it right! i just never saw the stoppers in this position on a yo before.

Thumbs Up

Nice color and it looks pretty clean. Is that a "chris king" sticker on the top tube?
Would look better without it.

Ha! the chris king sticker hides a nasty little scratch....

thought I would ride the piss out of it first and decide whether or not to get the rig repainted.

It's chock full of fingernail polish as it sits
