My data points: I had a 1997 Yo Eddy with a 1" headtube and a 1998 Bro Eddy with a 1 1/8.

I have a '97 Bro Eddy with 1 1/8". I allways believed they switched in '97.

I place it as 96. Mombat seems to say 97. I hava 95 model Yo and Buck at 1 inch. I did have a Buck in Arrest me Red with a 1 1/8 head tube and since Bucks stopped production in 96 i'd say that pins it to 96. Maybe not all bikes transitioned in one hit though.
