Ok I 93 yo eddy, I am the original owner and this has been replaced as my main MTB and delegated to pulling a trail-a-bike. I am thinking this winter of a rebuild and want to know the basic process. The frame is in good shape, paint has some nics. The fork was upgraded to a Judy some time ago. The paint scheme is aqua fade. I would like to possibly get a segmented fork or paint the Judy to match. Any suggestions on a starting point.

Spend a month reading the threads here, and I think you will figure it out.
Sort of depends on whether you need/want to source new parts or just freshen things up. Either way, I'd strip everything and give it a good clean.
