Default Monster Fat - Deore XT

I am located in Charlottesville, VA, but also travel to Richmond frequently. If you're not within pickup range, we can arrange shipping at an additional cost.

Asking $400 (+ shipping, if required)

Hi-Res photos can be viewed here: http://darencarpenter.com/craigslist/fatcity/

Frame size is 19"
Components are as follows:

Deore XT Thumb Shifters, derailleurs, and cranks
Pulstar Straight-lace hubs, front and rear
Manitou Mach 5 Suspension fork - needs rebuild, and I am including the original lime green chromoly fork
Salsa stem
Dia-compe 986 cantilevers in front, Suntour Pederson SE (Self Energizing) brakes rear

The tape on the top tube is to PREVENT a ding from the bars, the top tube has no damage. Everything works perfectly except the suspension fork, which needs a rebuild. Note that the original fork is included. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!

Cool---that's an early one. Nice price, and even nicer that you have the original fork.

Default She has been sold!

To a local guy who really appreciates it. I will sleep well tonight knowing she went to a good home.

Default Thanks for the great ride!

I rode her home last night after I had the original fork put on. All I can say is WOW!

I thought the ride would improve after I replaced the Mach 5 and I was right.

Best bike I have ever ridden and I'm still in shock that it's mine.

The Monster is alive and well in Richmond, VA.

Thanks again Darren and best of luck!

Nice bike, you got a great deal on it. You did it right by switching it to the original fork.

Tire So glad to see her back in her original glory!

I haven't seen it with that fork since 1993! Look me up if you ever bring it out to Walnut Creek...

Happy Trails!
