Default 1986 Fat Size Question

I am talking to a guy about a used Fat and am questioning his sizing. The bike is a 1986 and has a 31" stand over. The measurement from the center of the BB to the top of the seat post is 20.5". I asked for the measurement to the center of the top tube, but it sounds like he measured to the top of the seat tube.

What size bike do you guys think this is?

Like you said, really hard to tell, given that the difference is a matter of inches (or less) and who knows if he was doing center to center or what. Can you get pics?

Alternatively, his height/inseam. You should be able to make a range of sizes work. If it sounds close and in good condition, go for it and see!

My guess is 19.5" which was the most common size we produced. I would guess that we built as many 19.5s as all other sizes combined
