Default Candy Wild Cherry Paint Job Query

Hi chaps,

I would like to ask if anyone out there can give me the 'recipe' for the Candy Wild Cherry paint job please?

Will keep the old fingers crossed.

Many thanks,

Attention! Once again, for posterities sake...

Candy Wild Cherry is a composite of a base color and a candy overlay.

To get that dark purple/red color that pops all sparkly in the sunlight, you will need to use

PPG DBC 2000 series

Base color - PPG #33895, Charcoal Silver
Candy color - PPG #51181, Wineberry

This is a very easy color to screw up, as inconsistencies in the amount of candy or excessive layers will change the finished color and transparency. This is why you will see variations in the color through the years as painters changed.

check it out... www.groovycycleworks.com and www.groovycycleworks.blogspot.com !
