For Sale 19.5" Wicked

I was looking forward to the task of restoring this old friend to its past glory, but an imminent and major relocation to Europe is forcing me to reduce my possessions to as close to zero as possible. Now my goal is to get this into the hands of a Fat Chance enthusiast who will get some real use out of it, so that it won't die an ignoble death somewhere, neglected in a musty garage. Thus, a listing here on FatCogs.

Here's my July 2009 description of the bike: http://www.fatcogs.com/forum//showpo...&postcount=354

Since posting that, I had to replace the original brakes with some very cheap, generic cantilevers, wore the saddle out completely, and fried the crappy old Shimano 105 rear derailleur, replacing it with a hilarious NOS Shimano 600 ("Arabesque") I happened to have malingering in the toolbox. The rear hub is non-functional, its original sealed bearings and cassette body hosed.

Thanks to heavy, year-round urban use and my youthful re-decaling process (i.e. camouflaging the bike's provenance by covering the FCC decals with various stickers, in order to discourage theft), there is surface rust in a number of places. Thankfully, though, no dents. What this bike needs is some TLC and a nice powder coat.

In sum:
1989 19.5" Wicked that needs some love and new paint
Original BB spindle but pressed bearings replaced in 2009
Original Deore crank (with a single 42T ring) and HS
"Control Stem" and Taperlite bars, very old Onzas
Original Deore XT brake levers and 6-speed rear shifter
Super cheap brakes, super cheap pedals
Original seat post, the Ti seat post binder bolt that I put on this thing originally, no saddle
Shimano 600 "Arabesque" rear derailleur (friction, ha!) with a year and a half of use

A note about the wheels: They were a high school graduation present (!) from my boss at the time, an expert wheel builder. Bontrager on the front, Mavic on the rear, 32 db spokes, and the hubs are these cool Nuke Proof carbon units from around '92, with sealed bearings (that, in the rear, are totally shot, along with the 6-speed (sic) cassette body). The original Ti QR skewers always freaked me out, and years ago were replaced with run of the mill ones that looked more reliable to me. The tires are worn out.

I am asking $200 + packing (will use a local bike shop) + shipping (in the U.S.).

I have a very strong preference for someone local who can pick the bike up from me (I'm in East Cambridge, not too far, I think, from the old Fat City plant).

I hope to have some new pix up here before the weekend is over. Please let me know if you have any questions.

As promised, adding recent pictures...or rather, since the uploader choked on them, pointing them out at:

How much for just the frame, fork, cranks, seat post and stem? I have all of the other parts and it would be easier to ship
