Default Monster Fat for sale try #2

The first time I thought I had this sold, it fell through, so I'm trying again.

Large Monster Fat for sale $350 OBO + S&H (Shipping from Milwaukee, WI). In decent shape. Has been ugraded over the years as parts wore out. I've ridden is quite a bit.

All is Shimano XT except Deore thumb shifters + Deoro LX front Deraileur
ATAC Stem
Taperlite 2 bar
Mavic X517 rims with Panaracer Smoke/Dart tires
Topo brakes
I think it's a bontrager shock, but there are no stickers on it.

Also, not shown are matching purple bar ends that I'll throw in.

Everything works well except that they are 7 speed thumb shifters with an 8 speed rear cassette, so the shifters are used in friction shift mode. I have the old rear 7 speed hub but no cassette if you're interested. The old rim was dented and out of true so that's why I replaced it and at the time they didn't sell 7 speed cassettes any more.

The frame is in good shape. It is pretty much rust free except where there was some chain slap. The seat post is pretty beat up though.

It's been a great bike, but I really needed a new one.

How bad is the seatpost and chainsuck? Any chance of close-up pics of these areas? Thanks, Jeff.

Not too bad on the chain suck. The seat post is a bit marred, but moves up and down for adjustment just fine. The seat tube on the frame is also in good condition.

I'll post pics later tonight.
