Default Anyone know how to refinish Rockshox SID Stanchion Tubes?

I picked up a donor SID fork that I planned to do a 1" Judy Crown conversion on but when I pulled the SID apart realized that the Stanchion Tubes are badly scuffed in the 2" area where the seales make the most contact. I assume this means that dirt/sand got through the seals and scuffed up the stanchions.

I am wondering if anyone has ever seen a good diy method of resurfacing the stantions?

I'd say probably no way since refinishing will change the dims and make them even looser in the bushings

Ditto - tubes are trash/recycle, but the lowers can probably be reused.

Solution: Burning the original anodized, anodizing again.
Anodized again, we won a few microns in thickness of the tubes.
