Default ti post size

anyone know what size seatpost i need for my ti fat (#ti 1000). definately a mass bike. bought new in late '95 but i suspect it was a year or two old already. any info would be greatly appreciatted.

cant think of a single reason why it wouldnt be 29.4mm like the rest of them?
