Default -92 Monsterfat seatpost size

I just got hold of my drembike, but can't figure out the seatpost size. It is a 1992 MonsterFat. Anybody have any ideas? It is smaller than 27, that is all I know

Thanks

Default Monster Fat seat post

the size of your seat post should be 26.4.

Seat posts in this size are available, but high end ones are tough to find these days.

They're right, high end ones are very difficult to find...

Some a$$ stole my vintage 26.4mm post once and I was pissed off... still am.

Nashbar has one right now for $9.95.

Kalloy still makes them also, or you can always check ebay. If you want a high end seat post, there are some posts made at 25.4mm and you could use a shim.

Happy hunt'n and good luck w/ the monster

Thanks alot guys. A USE post in 25.0 with shim might be a good idea then. I'll post picks when it is ready for the woods.
