Default water bottle

ok gonna hit u up with some thoughts. I just got a fat chance water bottle off ebay - its large and yellow. I was able to get all the black scratches off it and it looks really sweet so far. I am wondering though should i repaint some of the printing that has been scraped off. My wife says no. Leave it orig. like a ferarri u dont want to lose some of the patina of age.

What do the other forum menbers think.

Also what kind of period cage would be cool to hold this baby?
I have a ringle on there now and it would all but cover most of the beauty of this bottle.

thanks for yur thoughts on this one and when i get my bike from the rafters of my garage i will take a few snaps of it and the bottle
