sure looks like the canty brake posts on this Yo fork are welded on @ different heights from the photo, or maybe it's just the angle of the photo, or an optical illusion?

Its an optical illusion. Notice the photo isn't an exactly straight on shot of the fork, but at a very slight angle. distance from dropout to post on each leg is equal.
