Default To install a 1" fork to a 1 1/8" steerer tube.

As the title says; is this possible? Does it exist a steerer bearing that has a 1" inner ring, to fit 1" fork, and 1 1/8" outer ring to fit the frames steere tube?

I bought a Betty for my wife a few years back and mounted an Judy shock on. The Judy is enormously large to the small Betty frame. I have an original 93' 1" Eddy fork I would love to put on the Betty.

I did some investigation, but could'nt find the bearing I was looking for, so a last attemt here at Fatcogs..

All replys will be very much appreciated!

Cheers!

Default yes

Look for a Chris King conversion kit. You can still buy these from Chris King. It allows you to use 1" steerer tube fork on a 1 1/8' headtube.

Hi,

I've fitted a 1" Switchblades into a frame with 1-1/8" headtube. Into the frame cups have been pressed that enable the use of a 1" headset. By taking a closer look the pic should show you it =>

The absolute best soulution is to get the 1 1/8" Yo fork, but these does not grow on trees nowadays.
