Rear spacing on older Fats?

I hope this isn't too obvious to ask but I'm trying to find out what the rear axle spacing is for a 1990 Wicked. In the mid nineties I switched from the stock Suntour XC pro rear hub to an XT 8 speed, so for the last ten years I've been running a 135mm rear hub. It shifts OK, but I suspect it was originally built for 130mm hubs and would shift better if I got it back to the original chainline (I'm still running the stock XC pro cranks). I'm also wondering if the switch (from or back to 130mm) will call for a frame re-alignment.

This is an old post, but I'm fairly certain I always ran 135mm hubs on my 1990 Wicked, and I don't ever recall cold setting the thing.

Anybody know when they went from 130 to 135 rear spacing?

Pretty sure 1989 was the first year for Shimano production 135. 130 was still available for quality MTB until 1992.
