Slim Chance

I would like to build myself a road bike and obviously this needs to be a Slim Chance. I would like to have some information about the possibilties. What frame sizes were produced? Did they come with a fork, or not? And if not can I mount a modern carbon fork with Aheadset or even hidden headset? And last nut not least: where can I find one? I need a 62 cm (24.4") approx.

The Slim Chance first showed up in the 1990 catalog in 52, 54, 56, 58, 60 & 62cm. Later catalogs shows slightly different sizing availablility.
Some came with a unicrown fork (like mine), others came with the much cooler road version of the Yo fork. I have seen some bikes fitted with carbon forks, but I do not believe that Fat City ever provided them.
Of course in later years the name changed to Chris Chance (Slim Chance was a much better name IMO), and a beautiful Ti version was also added in the late 90s.
In the early 90s Fat Citys race team used a full Mavic gruppo, nice bikes.

All in all, very nice bikes, you can't go wrong with any of them. Good luck with your search.
