Yo for sale! SN: S/M #2229. Great bike, has some wear from riding but in good shape. One of the grip shifts needs to be replaced. For the right price this one will go!

This fat

700 seems on the light side...

looks more like 1000 bike to me

but....it's really whatever the market bears, i've seen worse go for more, i've seen better go for less

Keep on rockin in the free world....

Frame is very nice but it's not made in sommerville nor has the rigid steel fork. BUild is functional and good but there are no Cooks, Graftons, KIngs or even m900, salsa, syncros.
It's a great bike bike. wonderfull.

For comparison:

I bought my yellow 1993 Yo Eddy on eBay for $1650 in early 2009, which I thought was pretty high but well worth it. Everything was damn near pristine and it had all the original documentation and a frisbee to boot.

Somerville-built frame (w/threaded BB shell) and sus-corrected Yo Eddy fork
no logo Chris King threaded headset
XTR rear mech
XC Pro front mech
Grafton Joystix with XC Pro rings
White Industries ti BB
White Industries ti hubset, Mavic 230 SBP rims, double butted spokes, m900 cassette
Syncros post
Bontrager/San Marcos ti saddle
Syncros stem with canti hanger
Titec/Bonty ti bars
XC Pro 8-speed shifters
SS-7 levers
Prototype Machining Joe's Brakes cantis f/r
Smoke/Dart tires and Air-B tubes

Like others said, it is what the market will bear and who happens to be looking for a Fat at the moment. If you don't get bites and you want to sell, revise the price. If not, hold onto it--it's not like they are making more of them!
