91 Yo Eddy - Bullseye BB question

Hi All,
Pretty stoked to have my first Fat. As you can see in the pic, it had a 2 piece Bullseye crank in it. Now that it's out, a couple of questions, please:

1. Best way remove the inner sleeves (see last pic)? It feels like there are 2 of them in there, one on each side.

2. I'm thinking about getting the bearings & collars from Groovy. Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced spindle? Is Actiontec the only option? It sounds like the Phil Wood spindles won't fit in the Groovy collars.

3. Anyone try the Phil Wood outboard bottom bracket in a Yo?

Thanks!

In regards to the Bottom bracket i was lucky to have the spindle intact with working bearings.

I called independent and tracked down the bearing company

http://emersonbearing.thomasnet.com...?&plpver=1001&origin=keyword&by=prod&filter=0

exact SN: 6202-2RSNR5/8 (rubber seal / snap ring)

that fat cycles used and got the bearings rather cheap. The bearing also came with a cap that fits perfectly (see pic)..

I hope this helps..

Thanks for the bearing info. Right now, my LBS is checking out a threadless bb solution. Similar to the old Mavic cartridge style bb, but brand new and pretty inexpensive. I'll post here the results if they can get it installed.
