Sorry, it's not my place to say. I did speak with Chris via email, and he is working on something special. Unfortunately, the timing is a bit off for me. This is why I made this post. If you are getting ready to pull the trigger on something, just wait a bit. You'll be glad you did.

I talked to Chris last week, keep an eye on NAHBS coverage, and start saving as Wookie said.

Interesting - I heard from a few frame builders who use Ti that the supply of good quality Ti is getting harder to source.

Hmm, working for a spinoff of a spinoff? Sounds sweet if the perks are good!

I was informed that Seven is hiring someone else for their welder position. It was good to see Tim Delaney and Lloyd Graves again though. Was also good to know that I can still weld titanium after all these years and deteriorating eyes!
Oh well, the commute was going to suck anyway. (yeah I know, sour grapes) Have to get a real job again Scott |

Even on a bad day your ‘first pass’ welds would be a sight to behold. Scrutinized so many bike welds ( its an obsession

I appreciate the nice words as always. The crew at Seven does a fine job too. Their craftsmanship is very impressive. I think they knew right away that the commute was going to be a big issue for me. We never even got to the point of talking about money.
I thanked them for the opportunity of course. Hopefully spring weather will finally show up here. Regards Scott |
