I have recently restored a buck shaver frame i purchased three years ago. It came with a Judy fork but it seems to be too stiff for me. The bike shop near my house mentioned there are some substandard forks made for a one inch down tube. I would hate to put a cheap fork on such a cool bike. Any idea's of good forks that would work, or where I can get softer springs for the old judy that came with the frame?

Thanks for the help in advance!

both marzocchi & magura/rond make v.decent forks in 1in steerer. I'd happily use either of those :)
