1989 Desert themed Fat

Bought this a few years back, the original owner had a picture of the bike on the cover of a NORBA news. It was painted for a team in the southwest (any other ones out there?). Cool smaller paintings all over the frame and fork. The cable stops are painted in an alternating colors. Whoever built it up replaced some cable housing with copper tubing and it works great.

Can you do a close up/particulars on the copper housing? Never heard of that in my life...

First thing that comes to mind is bummer if you wiped out and crimped...

Very nice paint, haven't seen that paint job before.

I've seen the copper tubing used for the rear brake cable to replace the last cable housing piece that routes around the seat tube.

It is original to the bike same color as rest of the bike and also has a hand painted face o. The crown.

this is one of my all-time favorite paint jobs on a Fat. I may have to try and match that red/orange on my next bike build.

anyone know what that color is called? :)
