Hardly used.

INCLUDES:

- FORK WITH REMOTE LOCKOUT THUMBSHIFTER AND CABLE
- TRAVEL REDUCTION ROD
- ORIGINAL SERVICE MANUAL
- V-BRAKE MOUNTS (POLISHED ALLOY)
- DISC-BRAKE MOUNT

To quote Tim of Fork English (ultimate retro Pace fork guru!) "Probably the best pair of forks Pace made travel/performance/reliability wise".

Coil sprung, oil damper, grease port lubed.

1595g including lockout lever and cable

1" Cro Mo steerer. 21cm long. Ahead. Will fit all Fats up to a size L - probably even an XL too.

Custom extra Pace alloy internal rod piece included to allow the forks to be run at an old skool friendly 60mm travel (as well as 80mm and 100mm).

A-C lengths are approx:
424mm in 60mm travel
444mm in 80mm travel
464mm in 100 mm travel

As you can see, nice and short for use with older frame geometries. Even the 80mm setting is nice on a 93 onwards Fat as Paces are the shortest length forks for a given travel. I actually found the 80mm setting really nice - set up with slightly more sag so super plush and great steering/handling. I did try 100mm briefly but I think thats too long really!

I think standard suspension-corrected Fat BOI and Yo forks were approx 410mm A-C so with around 20% sag, these are perfect geometry-wise. And will work WAY better than any 1" Manitou or flexy Rock Shox! Plus the carbon legs are a thing of beauty.

These cost me almost £500 and I've hardly used them :| So looking for £250 on retrobike but will drop to £220 for a FAT COGger?

Perfect if you want to run your Fat "modtro" to keep up with the new skoolers!
