1989 Wicked Fat Chance w/ Box Crown Fork
$2000 + shipping This baby is a dream to ride and has been as awesome project – time to let someone else enjoy it though. Very rare to see a Wicked with the original box crown fork, this one has been built up with high end components including a Suntour drive train. The frame, fork, & stem have been stripped down and repainted by Hot Tubes (https://www.hottubes.com/custom-paint-gallery), decals are from SSSink, and tube internals have been treated with JP Weigle Frame Saver. Highlights of the components are: - Cooks Bros cranks - IRD seat post - Salsa Pro-Moto stem - Suntour XC-II pedals - Magura Shorty brake levers - Suntour XC-Pro Grease Guard headset and hubs Includes WTB Grease Gun. Full list of components: Frame - Wicked Fat Chance Fork - Box Crown Headset - Suntour XC-Pro Grease Guard Stem - Salsa Pro-Moto Handle Bar - Fat City Cycles Alloy, uncut Grips - Ritchey WCS True Grip Brake Levers - Magura Shorty Brakes - Fr: Suntour XC 9000 - Rr: Suntour XC Pederson SE Seat Post - IRD 26.4 Saddle - Selle Italia Turbo Seatpost QR - Specialized Seatpost Clamp - Fat City Cycles Alloy Bottom Bracket - Fat City Cycles, new sealed bearings Crankset - Cooks Bros 176mm Chainrings - Shimano SG, 48-38-28 Pedals - Suntour XC-II Shifters - Suntour XC-Pro, 7 sp Front Der. - Suntour XC-Pro Rear Der. - Suntour XC-Pro Cassette - Suntour XC-Pro, 7 sp 13-15-17-19-21-24-28 Hubs - Suntour XC-Pro Grease Guard Spokes - DT Rims - Saturae X-22 Tires - Specialized Ground Control 1.95 Black Max (not pictured) Here is an email from Chris with info on the frameset: Hi Andy, Serial Number 01979W is an 18" Wicked Fat Chance, tacked on Feb 8th, 1989 and finish welded on Feb 16th, 1989. That's what we can tell you. Hope you enjoy the ride! Cheers, Chris Please contact me with any questions. Cost of bike does not include shipping, willing to drive a few hours from Syracuse, NY to meet in the middle.

Updated ad, tires are now 1.95" Ground Control Black Max, removed extra rear derailleur (used on a different bike).
