Default Whta's the deal w/ Merlins?

Merlin mountain, Vandermark built.. the one w/ s stays. How is the handling? Saw the geometry and wheelbase was longer than Fats. Both spring from the same corner of the earth.

The must-have two brands (for me).
I think in order to know which one is better, you have to ride both.
...so I'm looking for a Merlin mountain titanium, if anyone has one, can contact me.

I know mate, we are all FAT lovers but sometimes we have to think out of the box.

I didn't abuse your thread but you wanted to know about handling, I just hope there's someone who has both and can report.

Best hardtail mountain bike ever. Bar none.

Rear wheel stays planted, front is light and precise but probably a little higher and longer than you're used to (depends on year I guess). The overall feeling is like riding in, not on if you get me. Tough as nails. Light as air. Great craftsmanship.
