what i did was use my student loan money to buy my fat in 87 ....

looking back - still seems like the right choice ... heh

i was thinking about getting pain for mine -
but the last time i sent a frame into usa, it was destroyed by customs .
can't do that again .

I am still looking for a nice black seat post and stem.

The plan is to add some wider tires for old fashioned suspension and climbing.

Very nice! I like the work that Rody did for you, very cool.

I too have a 91 Monster - check out my 91 Monster post in reader rides from this fall.

91 is my favorite year for the Monster Fat because it is the first year when the Monster Fat was it's own unique frame and was the first mono stay frame from Fat City. Prior Monster Fats were Wickeds with Monster Fat decals.

From what I can tell 91 was also the only year that "Frank" was used on the head badge - can any one else confirm that?
