Apart from the stiff yet comfortable Ti ride, I love the welds on these and the unique external butted tubes. Fat City really made bicycle art back then :beer::beer:

Thanks guys.

I'm thrilled with it, it rides great :) don't know why but it's more manageable as Yo Eddy, especially in curves it is agile.

Hi guys,

This is a rare and probably a custom stem of salsa.

It isn't an ahead but a quill stem with replaceable quill.

A comparison with normal salsa quill stem

Because the upper part of stem is thicker than quill, it is possible to assemble without threading on the steerer. With pushing bottom of quill against spacer you get the right tension on the headset bearings
