I have for sale a Rock Shox sid (not sure of year) with a 1" diameter threadless aluminum steerer tube. The steerer tube measures 7&7/8 in length, the cut is is not square and that measurment is the shortest spot. The steerer should probably be recut.
I purchased this fork form the Shockspital a few years back. I told him I was using it on my 95 ti fat and he said he was going to adjust the travel for that bike, I don't know exactly what he set it at. I only used this fork for a few months before I switched to a 29er. It will accept v-brakes or disc brakes.
This fork has not been used for approx 3 years! There seems to be an oily residue around the top of the fork leg where the adjuster says " compression" . There is some corosion on the steerer tube from the aluminum spacers that I used. Other than that this fork is in great shape with only a few minor scratches on the lowers.
$275 or best reasonable offer shipped to lower 48 USA
