Default Buckshaver frame number

BS L 143

That's what it says. I think it's a '96 in red

What does it mean?

ST,

BS = Buck Shaver
L = Large

On the number: It says it's the 143rd of -probably- 1996. I guess not in total as there is a lower no. '97 BS on FirstFlight. It is a NY built, because Mass. built used another system.

BTW does somebody know what is meant with 143th? 143rd Buck, 143rd FAT?

Should be 143rd Buck Shaver. Pretty hard to determine the year from NY bikes, though.

Then you can put it at right about 1994. You got a transition frame. Cool.

That's my guess. It seems I read somewhere that paint was often the bottleneck in their production.

Another frameno. questionmark to me: This '98 Yo! has a no. over 2000. Does this mean FAT made over 2000 Yo!'s in '98?

Default Yo Serial number

I seriously doubt that they made 2000 in any year, particularly that late in the game...
