Hello all,
I have a frame with serial number 408Y3SM. Few questions? 1-I assume it is a small/ medium and not just a small--is this true? 2- What size headset and bottom bracket do I need? I plan to build her up, but already bought a wrong headset, got 1" and too small so I again assume it must be 1 1/8" Thank for your time |

1993 Small-Medium frame, should be 1" headset. They switched to 1 1/8" in '95-'96 timeframe.
Bottom bracket is standard 68mm threaded.

Unless the head tube was replaced somewhere along the way, it would be 1". We never made any 1-1/8" head tubes in Somerville.
Yes, the SM in the serial number indicates that it is a small/medium Good luck Scott |
