Nice job! Looks like my welds on the frame
Who made the bar/stem combo?
I re-did my Wicked in all black after the first paint job got chewed up - no decals though - we called it urban camoflage
Regards

Bars and Stem

Scott....dig the welds. Yes, bars and stem are Klein Mission Control. Just procured a nice vintage Klein fork that I'll be painting and adding in the next few weeks. I'll post updated photos when it's done.

Looks much better now and loving it's your original bike but not sure the Klein additions suit the bike- those forks look fine as they are. Love my 89 wicked.

Frame is powder coated, then decals applied, and finished off with a clear coat over the decals.

The spindle is held by loctite.

The bike rides amazing off road. Super light yet solid. The XTR components were well worth the investment. I wasn't sure how the Klein mission control would feel so I got current wide bars & stem with a 1" conversion as a back up. As it turns out the Klein set up feels great and stealthy so I have not tried the wide bars yet. I also got some prestine XTR V brakes I didn't use if anyone is interested. Other things I may part with are 1 original BB spindle collar, new bearings and spindle for cooks bros cranks set up. I also have a cooks bros crank set but the left arm has a crack where it sits on the spindle. PM me if interested in anything.
